“Shoes Like Pottery” is a factory brand of MoonStar Co. Ltd., which was founded in 1873. Manufacturing is done through the vulcanizing method, which is still performed in only a few factories in Japan. The company’s name comes from how final step of placement in a “kiln” resembles that of pottery.

- We recommend applying waterproof spray before you take your shoes on or as a habit. After wearing your shoes, use a leather or shoe brush to dust them. For surface dirt and stains, use a commercially available eraser cleaner or spray-type leather cleaner.
