“Doek Oxford” follows the design of the closed-lacing tennis shoe and eliminates anything that could be viewed as a specific statement by only considering the material and making the best use of it. The deep red color of the fabric of the upper is dyed using a scale insect dye called “lac dye”. The fabric is made slightly thin so that the dye can go deep into the fabric, and vivid colors are expressed through multiple dyeing cycles. The footbed is made of cork, which is a naturally breathable material. The vulcanized manufacturing method, which is based on careful handwork, creates products that are necessary and sufficient for today’s lifestyles in terms of beauty, ease of wear, and durability.
